I just read a letter to the editor in a newspaper from Beaufort, North Carolina. The writer complained that it was unfair that the Constitution requires the president to be a natural born citizen. The logic was because this would preclude anyone born via C section. “Because the Constitution was written 100 years ago (really, in 1913?) nobody even thought of the discrimination that would result from a doctor having to deliver a baby in this unnatural way.”
Whew. I no longer have to wonder why we are in so much trouble as a nation. “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ Blood and Righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but only lean on Jesus’ Name. On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. All other ground is sinking sand.”
